Family Tree Verification

Many of our legal clients with estate administration responsibilities, often have limited knowledge of the deceased’s family tree, due to incomplete information being shared with them. This is because it is not uncommon for families to simply not know the relationships between them and their relatives are not in fact as they had understood them to be. For example, an assumed full-blood relative might actually be half-blood.

In intestate estates, or where the Will fails to account for the whole estate, it is critical to ensure all entitled parties are identified and traced to permit the correct and complete estate distribution.

We are able to offer our clients an initial free assessment of the family trees that have been shared with them that will highlight any potential areas of concern for them that could otherwise lead to an estate being incorrectly administered and distributed.

I can tell you, without going into matters too deeply, that this has answered some questions that I previously wondered about...

So grateful to you and all your staff, you are doing a wonderful job.

Family History

If you are interested in researching your family tree, but are not sure how to do this, we would be pleased to provide advice and training. Our genealogy skills have benefited from many years of experience researching thousands of family trees, using different research resources. We are independent of all software providers and are therefore ideally placed to discuss the pros and cons of different options available and, if desired, to train you to get the best from your choices.

If you would prefer us to research your family tree for you, to take advantage of our knowhow and resources, we can offer a range of services to suit. We can develop your family tree for you, to the extent that you would like, and can present this either as hard copy or in electronic form, should you wish to continue researching your family’s history.

Thank you again, we are so appreciative of all the information you have given us.
— Merrill and Tamara Kafka
You have provided so much information in respect of a family I have never met. I found a fraction of this on Ancestry.com. I am very happy with the service you have provided.
